It's a sea of lettuce

A week and a half ago, a friend gave us a head of Romaine because his CSA gave him 3, and he knew he didn't need it.  We made Lettuce Wraps, and thanked him warmly.  They went on vacation, and told us we could pick up their vegetable share for the 2 weekends they'd be gone.   Yay!  Farm-fresh organic vegetables!

You can always just add some veggies to the mac and cheese :)

I have a veggie share that I split with a neighbor, and it is really great, but yeah, some things (usually turnips and parsnips) just sit in the fridge until I throw them away...

We just started getting veggies from a CSA here too! The one we have seems a little different. You can choose to get different sized boxes and just pay for the box and can get it once a week or once every two weeks. We've figured out once every two weeks of a small box is good enough for us. I'm impressed at how much lettuce you were able to eat in a week!
