Today a kindly old woman came up to henry and i while we were having lunch and gave him a dollar. She said it was because he recognized his letters, she then proceeded to invite us to church. A baptist church. I politely lied that I had to work and she went away. Afterwards I began wondering if maybe it would be nice to go to church and check ( Read more... )

yeah, i never considered going to the baptist church. i went to one when i was a little kid and Brother Bob would eat goldfish, it was weird. i'd like to go to a church were you don't have to be a christian or believe in a higher power or any of that bullshit. haha, i guess that leaves me with option number two...

i'm surprised that the lady didn't ask for 10 cents back, since baptists have to tithe 10% of their income to the church to be a member.

you're a smart enough girl to find a way to be spiritual without bricks and mortar and donation boxes. take him to the woods, take yourself. there are many ways to connect with higher beings out there. the least of which is arotothen's honey!

maybe you could go to church for the reason of seeing that its a bad idea to go to church. kinda like how i dont like cigarettes and then when the timing hits and i try one for paradoxes sake, i remember how much i dont like to smoke. i think maybe this kinda rationale works for me only tho. i dont know.
