There is a giant billboard (is there any other kind?) that I pass every day coming home from work. It states to all interested, and to those that don't really give a crap, that "Undocumented Immigrants may contribute up to $255 million in taxes to Georgia each year

Do illegal aliens really get to use those assistance services? (Srsly, I don't know, so tell me)

In a "universal Health care" future not only would illegals get full services, they would get preferred service over tax payers that had been contributing for decades. Doctors will have to choose "worthy" candidates over "elder" ones. It's gonna happen folks..just watch.

Well, that fits right into the research paper I'm having to write ... but I disagree that a universal health care system is right around the corner (even a labyrinthine corner). Medicare and TennCare - our state welfare insurance - is already too fucked up.

miss you too, sweetie! I know I haven't said anything, but I have been reading your LJ and keeping up with all the dram and goings on in your world...

wish I could do more than just keep up with it all, but my situation is pretty tight too... /sigh

when it rains, it pours... or in my case, poors.. LOL
