My GENUINE hp cartridge, came from an HP box, the whole works... shows up in the printer as a non-genuine

I've sworn off HP and gone to a samsung laser. Print quality is getting better and better on these things!

yup.. this one was a freebie so i'm using it.. samsung and even brother have some nice units for under 300 bucks nowadays.
