I was really wondering how Arthur would handle the rejection. Turns out I was wrong, he was happy instead of mad lol. Maybe Francis will freak out at how OOC he is lol.
Alfred leaving in the most important event in his and Arthur's lives- a wedding! The event that will bind them forever! -broke Arthur's heart so much he got traumatized. I guess that's how much Al meant to him. One thing though, and no offense, but I notice that Alfred tends to be a jerk to satisfy the FrUK in some fics, but please don't make him a bad guy! Everyone has their reasons, huhu. i'm sorry it's just that I love Alfred too that loveable oaf
I really considered having Arthur being angry and hurt over the rejection and he was for the bit, but I realised it made him grow more as a person and wasn't just a bad thing so... It turned out better XD
Alfred is not the bad guy. Alfred is a lovable dork and if he never, ever, meant to hurt Arthur. His actions will be developed in the later chapters but I can promise you, as a fellow fan of Al, he is not the bad guy. In the end, he is a victim of circumstance.
Crying crying crying. You cannot believe how happy I am to see an update! I could feel the joy in the text you sent me after you posted~ And you still have it, let me assure you! The flavour- the way Arthur isn't going to let a silly little thing like one rejected kiss knock him on his ass so much as... wake him up.
But... ahh. I know far too much about your plotting- so I'll keep it to "I cannot wait for you to continue" because really, I'm flailing in my room at this point.

I am grinning from ear to ear, looking like a crazy - but very happy - woman from seeing this fic updated! Arthur has moved on and finally realizes that he has people in his life which is what I have been waiting for since moment since I began reading the first chapter! I like the fact that Francis is a positive role in Arthur's life still, and how he wishes to remain friends if it's possible.
I cannot wait for the next update, and I really hope that its soon! :)
Yes- I finally got all my ducks in a row and started writing again. And it feels good to get here! I think part of the reason I couldn't write this chapter initially is because I didn't know how Arthur was going to deal but I finally figured it out.
