Well, I must say this was one of the best of your works I've read so far.
The way you described Matthews thoughts was adorable, but also kind of sad.
I love the thoughtful atmosphere.
Though after I've read it, I realized that I've started to cry.

Another thing I liked was the way you described the time when Matthew spoke his first word. It showed somewhat the difference between him and his brother Alfred.
By the way, I thought it was funny that Alfreds first word was "apple". It suited him.
