Ahhh this. I've actually never read that many fics from Matt's point of view, so this was quite interesting. I really liked his thoughts in the parentheses P:

It was the day when Matthew realized that Alfred only looked tall.
This line especially made me really feel for Alfred, and how despite being such a great nation, he was still only a country, and like you said, just like the rest of them.

Ah, North America. :)
