... I'm not so sure about that.

That is to be expected. Most of the AIs I have come into contact with are not as informed as I.

However, with what occurred last night, there is a reasonable possibility that my theory is sound.

Do you know what that was? That was... something from our world. Not yours.

Please don't... don't treat it like it's some experiment.

Something from a different project; I have not encountered it. What was the name of your world?

An experiment? No; it was out of experimental stages. Everything here is a fully-fledged program.

... How can it be just a program? Ever thought it might be something else?

It is currently the most logically sound explanation, supported by my previous experiences with another, similar program.

... I had considered other options, but given the way the damage was reversed last night, it's probable that what we are dealing with is not fundamentally real.

No shit. Or maybe we just pissed off the gods of this place.

You've experienced something like this before?

I'm afraid the name 'Karma Society' is one I'm familiar with -- may I ask what you are referring to?

Yes.

The Karma Society is a corrupt company, originally established to study the Cuvier Syndrome and establish a communicative link with God. When they realised the power God could grant them, they performed experiments that led to God cursing the Earth, and they created an apartheid between those deemed worthy of existence and those who were to be hunted as prey.

... An unfortunate fall from grace, born of greed and desperation.

What do you know of them?

I'm -- afraid this all sounds rather foreign to me. I've never heard of the Cuvier Syndrome nor the Karma Society before. May I ask where you come from?

It's understandable that it would seem unfamiliar; everyone I have spoken to thus far has no familiarity with my world - and I, subsequently, have no familiarity with their's.

My origins lie in the Junkyard. However, I came here consecutively after the False Nirvana. The "real world". That is where the Karma Society I knew operated.

What are your origins?

A ... 'program'?

Yes. You are not familiar with the definition?

true_wind_rune July 29 2008, 14:34:58 UTC
No. The way you speak of it... an illusion, perhaps?

... Illusion isn't a wholly inaccurate definition.

A simulation. It is not real, though it may feel otherwise.
