OS X tools for my writer friends

I ran across a couple interesting writing tools that run on OS X recently:

WriteRoom - a simple writing tool (full screen, uncluttered, almost like using a typewriter)
Scrivener - a full-fledged project management system for writers (outline, edit, storyboard, write).

I haven't yet sent notes out to people; I've been meaning to post it to a mailing list she's on, though. And she may read my LJ at times.
