Hello? LJ? Bueller?

It's been over a month since the sidebar of component has been whacked OUT (pushed down under the entry when you go to comment), so how come there hasn't been a fix yet by LJ? This seems like a long time for this issue to go unaddressed (unless I missed something in the LJ 'news')...but still a long time for layouts to be messed up. I've had ( Read more... )

The first time this happened to me LJ told me to update firefox and it fixed the problem once I did that. This time, firefox is up to date so that can't be the issue. I'm not sure what the problem is but it's annoying! I use smooth sailing at the moment but all of my friends use component so viewing their journals can be a pain when everything is all stretched and misplaced.

I don't use Firefox, but it seems to also be an issue in Internet Explorer. It's crazy that it seems to be ignored when so many users have this layout.

I use Chrome, and it's still an issue with me. :/

I've been using Component for ever, too, and I understand your frustration with the lack of support. I don't have this issue on my layout, but I do see it on yours (if you like I will check on other browsers/systems, but it will take a bit - I'm not near any other computers ATM). And you haven't changed anything lately (mood themes, etc ( ... )

Same thing in FF/IE on Win7. I would totally look at your header coding. Let me know if you want me to look, but I won't promise that I will be able to spot the problem, but I'm willing to try.
