Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni
"Quote." Rika’s number one best friend. There isn’t anything in the world she wouldn’t do for Satoko, including risking her own life. When Satoko finally arrived in Johto, Rika was ecstatic. It’d been months since she’d seen her best friend and finally getting to speak to her again was the best thing in the world. Now that they’re traveling together, Rika couldn’t be any happier.
Keiichi Maebara
Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni "Quote." Before Keiichi had arrived, Rika wasn’t sure how she felt about Johto. She’d made friends, but she couldn’t help but think about her friends in Hinamizawa. When Keiichi showed up, though, Rika felt relieved. Not only was he actually there with her, but he was even from the same fragment. Finding that out only made Rika more determined to beat her fate when she returns home. Although both Keiichi and Rika have been through rough times in Johto, they’ve managed to pull each other out of those tough spots and learn from their experiences in this world. in-game
Hayate Ayasaki
Hayate the Combat Butler!
"Quote." Rika has been traveling with Hayate since the beginning, which has allowed them to grow close-almost like family. At this point, Rika wouldn’t hesitate to say that Hayate is part of her family. For a long time, Rika felt as if she had no family, but after meeting Hayate she knows how it feels to finally have someone she looks at as family. Rika hopes that they remain together for the duration of their stay in Johto. They started out in Johto together, and she hopes they end their journey in Johto together.
Ventus
Kingdom Hearts " Quote." Rika and Ventus became fast friends, so it was only natural that they became best friends just as quickly. If something were to ever bother Rika, she wouldn’t hesitate to tell Ven what it was. After all, she has no doubts that Ven would know just what to say to make her feel better. However, Rika can’t help but be scared that one day, Ven will leave, but she knows that they’ll always be friends no matter what, even if they don’t remember each other. Asuka Tenjoin
Yu-Gi-Oh! GX
"Quote." Even before Rika got to know Asuka very well, she was someone that had Rika’s full respect. As they traveled together, Rika got to know her and they became good friends. Eventually, Rika was finally able to tell her about her situation back home, and when she finally did, it was as if a giant weight had been lifted off of her shoulders. Asuka’s support has definitely helped Rika get through any sort of trouble she’s been in, and Rika hopes to support Asuka in the future. Rika feels as if she’s beginning to look at Asuka as an older sister, and she thinks that bond will only grow stronger as they continue to travel together.
Mitsuru Kirijo
Persona 3 "Quote." Before Rika really even knew Mitsuru, she could tell she was a trustworthy person. Rika later learned that Mitsuru was kind, even though she was stern. Through their time traveling together, she and Mitsuru have grown close, and Rika’s started to look up to her as if she were her sister. She felt like that even more after they told each other what had happened to them in their own worlds. After learning about everything Mitsuru went through, Rika’s respect for her grew. She hopes to continue traveling with Mitsuru and getting to know her even more. Smoker
One Piece
"Quote." At first, Smoker was a gruff and hard to talk to. However, that didn’t stop Rika from continuing to talk to him. After many conversations, Smoker warmed up to Rika and she began to see how kind he truly was. Since meeting each other, they’ve spoken about their friends back home and shared their opinions on justice. When Smoker surprised her with a bike on her birthday, Rika learned just how much kindness was in Smoker’s heart, and she hopes to return that same kindness one day.
Johan Andersen
Yu-Gi-Oh! GX "Quote." Rika’s known Johan for a long time now; they met soon after Rika had arrived in Johto. Since meeting, they’ve spent time together, including playing games. They’ve become good friends over the course of their stay in Johto. Rika’s happy to have Johan’s friendship and she hopes to spend even more time with him in the future. Lamdadelta
Umineko no Naku Koro Ni
"Quote." Lamdadelta, the Witch of Certainty and someone who knows Bernkastel. At first, Rika was surprised to meet someone that knew so much about Bernkastel and the situation in Hinamizawa. Currently, Rika’s traveling with Lamdadelta as she continues to get to know her better. As of now, though, Rika’s not sure how to feel about her. She finds her entertaining, and Rika’s not afraid to be her true self in front of Lamdadelta. Rika has a feeling that they’ll become good friends in the future. Still, that doesn't mean Rika isn't extremely weary of her. Athrun Zala
Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Destiny
"Quote." They haven’t traveled together for long, but Rika has enjoyed the time she’s spent with Athrun. She finds him to be a genuinely nice person and all of their conversations have been interesting. Rika would like to spend more time with him in the future and to keep traveling with him.
Kaito Kuroba
Detective Conan "Quote." Rika thinks Kaito is an interesting person. She also finds him to be nice, and fun to talk to. However, Rika can’t get over the feeling that he’s hiding something and that it might be related to that theif dressed in white that she met once before. Regardless, Rika considers him to be a friend, and she would love to talk to him more. Cecil Harvey

"Quote." They’ve only spoken a few times, but each time they have, Rika has enjoyed talking to Cecil. She can tell that he’s a nice person who would do anything for the ones he loves. She hopes to speak to him more in the future. Sora

"Quote." Rika met Sora not too long ago, and they became fast friends. She has enjoyed getting to know him and would like to become better friends with him. She hopes that they might run into each other again one day.
Daisukenojo “Beat” Bito
The World Ends With You "Quote." He may not look like it, but Beat’s one of the nicest people Rika has met in Johto. She can tell that he genuinely cares about his friends and his pokémon. Rika would like to get to know him better. She also still owes him that home-cooked meal. Hope Estheim

"Quote." Rika’s known Hope for a while now. Although they haven’t spoken to each other more than a handful of times, Rika’s enjoyed all of those conversations. At one point, Hope left Johto, but he returned only a month later and Rika was happy to see him again. She hopes to speak to him more in the future. Lucifer of Pride
Umineko no Naku Koro Ni
"Quote." At first, Rika wasn’t sure what to think of Lucifer. She was someone who knew Bernkastel-and even asked Rika about it-and that surprised her. Since then, Rika’s gotten to know her a bit better and she finds Lucifer to be kind, and Rika’s even told Lucifer that she will beat up Keiichi if he ever hurts her.
Battler Ushiromiya Umineko no Naku Koro Ni "Quote." They’ve only spoken a few times, but Rika already really likes Battler, which is probably due to the fact that he reminds her so much of Keiichi. Due to that, Rika thinks that they will become good friends.
Nai
Karneval "Quote." A naïve young boy that always asks Rika questions. However, Rika doesn’t mind answering them. After all, she can tell that Nai is a sweet, caring person and that makes Rika want to take care of him. They’ve already become friends after only speaking to each other a couple of times, and that tells Rika that their friendship will grow quickly. Aerith

"Quote." They haven’t spoken to each other much, but Rika already likes Aerith. She’s a kind woman who has a positive outlook on life. It’s been a long time since Rika’s spoken to her, and she hopes to do so soon.

Umineko no Naku Koro Ni "Quote." A girl who was looking for her mom when she first arrived. Rika told her to be strong for her mom when she finally arrives in Johto. Even though Maria agreed to do that, Rika still worries about her. Cocona Bartel

"Quote." Once when it was snowing, Rika and Cocona made an army of snowmen and even created their own story to go along with it. They both had fun playing in the snow, and Rika could tell that Cocona was a fun person to play with. She hopes to play in the snow again with her one day.
