Aargh!

Have just had heart failure after a certain cat (my flatmate's) insisted on repeatedly jumping up onto the DVD player (on top of a chest of drawers for those not in the know) and after my final yell at her to get down decided to react with complete terror (why? she normally just stares at me?) and threw herself off the drawers with such a back kick

It was and is and we have now made up, although she was nearly toast earlier today when she started hopping up there again. Cats! Still, I always said one of the things I liked about them was that you can't always tell a cat what to do... or indeed ever!
