Who knew that I'd finally manage to start up and keep a journal on paper? I've always been a typer, and in personal matters I've especially been beholden to typing since I started my first Open Diary sophomore year of high school. i went to books-a-million today to buy the atlantic monthy fiction issue, and saw poets&writers and said, i'd like that, too, and then i picked up a kenyon review and said, i'd like that, too. then i noticed that george had a story in the kenyon review, and after i got home, i saw that he had an interview in poets&writers. i'm a little weirded out, but awfully proud of and impressed by him.
