Community has been nominated for a Hugo!

For those who don't know, the Hugo is basically the biggest awards in science fiction/fantasy. Awards are given for best novel, short story, and a whole slew of other categories, including best dramatic presentation.

This year, "Remedial Chaos Theory" has been nominated for Best Dramatic Presentation (Short Form).

Huh. That's really cool that they would even think to nominate it (since I can't see in any way, shape or form how it fits that docket... but whatever). I'll take what we can get when it comes to award noms.

Well, I think "Remedial Chaos Theory" is pretty clearly speculative fiction, although I'd be hard-pressed to place it in a genre. There are actual alternate realities.

... so my favorite episode of Community is up against my favorite episode of DW ("A Good Man Goes to War"). I... I am so proud to live in such a world where these two shows are nominated together. Clearly British awards got it right! ;D

It's an amazing set of nominations! And they were the best three Doctor Who episodes last season, but so glad "Remedial Chaos Theory" is getting this sort of attention.
