SO VERY AWESOME.

I, well, okay, this is awesome. It was so in character for Shirley, right down to he purse, her theorizing that she does the lord's work, so very spot on. At the same time, this does feel like Buffy.

Jeff. He was perfect too. Vampiric vanity suits him. (as does Pierce his cheerleader gig. :D) I like the relationship he has with Shirley. This grudging respect/admiration sort of thing he has going on.

I wouldnt be lying when I say that I would love to see more of this.

Thanks! I was trying to write a fusion fic, and once I paired the idea of Buffy with Shirley, it sort of fell into place. :)

I don't know whether I'll ever write more, but I'll definitely keep open to inspiration. ♥

I'm only a little familiar with Buffy, but this is so great! I love how you did Jeff and Shirley's relationship, as well as Shirley seeing this as the Lord's work.

Thank you! I think Shirley would just be completely pragmatic about the whole thing, as strong in her faith as ever or more! :) And I adore Jeff and Shirley's interactions, so I had to use it.

You mentioned on the AO3 that Chang was meant to be Faith. I haven't replied there, but I wanted to say that THAT IS AMAZING. AMAZING.

Okay, so this is how I saw it (correct me if I'm wrong):

Shirley = Buffy
Jeff = Spike (?)
Michelle = Non-crazy Dru / Harmony (?)
Troy = Xander
Abed = Giles / Wesley
Britta = Anya
Annie = Willow
Pierce = Cordelia (which is so perfect and yet so very wrong)

Not gonna lie, I've kind of shipped cracky Jeff/Shirley ever since Foosball. And as a MASSIVE Buffy fan, this was just perfection!

(especially since in canon I'm a Jeff/Annie shipper, and in Buffy I always kind of liked Spike/Willow...)

You are correct! I had Michelle pegged as Dru, but Harmony also works! I hadn't quite specifically made Abed Giles or Wesley, but he's only closer to Giles because he informed Shirley of her gift and formed the group. :)
