Help the Show: Create a MyNBC Account

If you go to NBC.com, the top right corner of the page has a sign in for 'MyNBC'. I urge EVERYONE to create a MyNBC account if you haven't already! Your account allows you to comment on videos and photos for each show, play games on the site, accumulate points towards special prizes, etc. What better way to comment directly about Community than

I think the problem for some of us is that everything that goes through NBC is restricted to Americans, and I need an American postal code to even sign up for the site. I wish they would find some way to accommodate fans that aren't American, but I suppose this is only wishful thinking considering Americans are their target audience. But my bet is that a lot of the discussions don't go down on places like nbc.com for that exact reason. BUT I do hope some Americans are willing to take their discussions there to show them that there is a lot of enthusiasm for this show.

I just feel really helpless when it comes to what I can do. I can't contribute to the ratings and I most likely can't buy things from their sponsors. All I can do is buy merchandise, but those are usually kind of expensive investments. njnjdfgkfgnjdkjfgnk I feel so helpless, whyyy.

That is a huge problem, but, unfortunately, I don't think NBC is that concerned with non-American viewers. Which is crap. In our increasingly global community, I wish they would at least try to factor in international viewership. But the ads are targeted to Americans and the ads are what makes money, so, from a business perspective, y'all don't count. :(

Which is very understandable, really, because obviously people make tv shows for the people in their own country and not everyone else. And usually it doesn't really bother me at all since I've been lucky and my favourite shows have had good ratings in the US so it's never been an issue. But right now my brain is like "screw logic!" XD and I also want to 'help' but I have no way of doing it. Woooe XD

At the very least, you can be a cheerleader. Be encouraging of others and keep your eyes open for any opportunity to pitch in. We're all in this together. For Greendale!

In the positive side, if you cannot watch a video from Community outside of USA is because the episode haven't air yet, once an episode airs the videos from said episode will be available for anyone to watch and then comment.
