I did just read though that they're not submitting Two and a Half Men to the outstanding comedy race even though it qualifies. Interesting...

Probably because they didn't get a full season in. It's hard to compete with complete shows when you only have half a season.

I do hope they submit Jon Cryer for supporting actor though. He's always brilliant.

I read he and the kid on the show are both submitting. Good for them for putting up with that shenanigans.

Both Joel and Community seem to be doing really well in their respective races.

I really hope Alison gets a nod this year as well, and Danny. If the Emmy people aren't impressed by his Cougartown monologue, then they should all be lined up and shot.

Voted in both polls earlier today!
I'm really hoping that if Community can hang in there a few more seaons, it'll finally go from being "hilarious and underappreciated" to "recognized at a basic level by people who run awards shows," ala "The Big Bank Theory." I hope the same happens for Pakrs & Rec too! NBC may not be the #1 network but they have some seriously hilarous sitcoms. :)
