It's unfortunate that "Modern Warfare" aired after the deadline. I think if that episode had been able to be submitted, it would have won without much competition. It shows exactly what the show is all about and it doesn't hurt that it's one of the funniest episodes of any sitcom to air in a very long time.

I agree that you can't get away with not submitting the pilot - and they had Jon Oliver in it, it might help?

But Introduction to Statistics is a good choice. Batman!Abed will impress. ;D

I'd prefer 109, but maybe that's just because I couldn't fully appretiate Abed's Batman before seeing the CB Batman movies (I have now, and I obviously bow down before Danny Pudi's greatness).
And I personally loved the pilot and fell in love with the show instantly because of it, so I'm all for that one.

But you know, it's the Emmys, they'll probably give it to 30 Rock. Whatever, who cares... (Okay I do, secretly, and reluctantly. Damnit.)

I don't like that they submitted the pilot but I understand why. The Pilot introduces the show to the voters and Intro to Statistics gives the voters what a regular episode is like. It's a good combination when it comes down to it. Debate 109, Comparative Relgion, Romantic Expressionism, or The Science of Illusion were much better episodes than the Pilot though and more Emmy worthy. Oh well the pessimist in me has little faith in the show getting a nomination. It's all politics and block voting anyways.
