Good morning, Communies! Well, I thought that was a vast improvement over last week. And I was happy to see Subway cast as the villain (sort of) because I work for a different chain of sandwich shops. Let's see what others with less pronounced conflicts of interest thought:

I've been rewatching old seasons as I've watched this season, and it's hard for me not compare how much funnier they are than a lot of episodes this season. Not that there wasn't some really good jokes this episode (anything with the dean, the board, and Hickey was gold), but they were spaced between stuff that didn't work like Abed's "not a story" thing. (by the way, calling it just in case: Abed created the treasure map to create a story) The tag in particular was brilliant and made up for a lot of the dead air

Also, Chang had better do a heel-face turn in the next episode, because I thought we'd moved past that simplified version of his character.

I dunno. I guess I agree with a lot of reviewers that my opinion of this episode will be determined by what happens in the next one.
