Relationship Dynamics:

How has the dynamic between Abed and Troy evolved since Season 1? Do you think their being roommates had a hand in how they dealt with each other?

I think their relationship has evolved since Troy has evolved. He's in the process of growing up and trying to be more self-possessed, and in doing so his relationship with Abed is evolving as well. It's tougher for Abed, because he probably will never have a significant change, so he's kind of forced to work with the cards he's dealt as his best buddy changes in front of him.

How would you reconcile the two facets of Britta presented in this episode? Do you think she values love above most things ( ... )

I loved the Britta subplot in this episode. It was so, so Britta, and also a great homage to 1984. Like Britta and Subway I read that book as a teenager and I've always loved Winston and Julia's doomed romance. I don't think Britta was really, actually in love with Subway, I think she just couldn't resist imitating the book. It was pretty much her version of Inspector Spacetime, in a way. I feel bad that she kind of ruined Rick's life though.

Oh, and I also loved the extremely subtle way they brought back the "butt stuff" running gag with Britta's illicit sex act (she digitally explored Subway's interior design, you guys). More Troy/Britta subtext? Yes please.
