Hi there. Community is a great show and I have a suggestion. What songs would you like to see featured on Community? I would love to see Selena represented.

Yeknow, I'm just such a huge fan of Ludwig's compositions that I don't necessarily need other music on there, unless it has a particular/comedic purpose, like the works of Abba for Epidemiology or Hello for the Britta/Chang rivalry.

Otherwise, I just get really happy when I hear Community's signature songs in the background. I REALLY loved when they put "At Least it was Here" in the final montage of season 3. If it had been the finale, it would have been the perfect way to finish things off.

I agree with crittab. Ludwig's stuff is just so....peppy! Anytime I hear the tunes from the community medley I'm just filled with happy positive thoughts.

Although...Daybreak has to be one of the best songs to be used. I think if any other songs were to be used it would have to be as a tool to reinforce the comedy of the scene. I can't listen to Lionel Richie without smiling goofily anymore.

Thanks for the comments. Community is a great show and the music really helps the show come alive. I did have an issue when ABBA was used in the zombie episode in season 2. I felt that it was insulting to use their music in that way. Wasn't cool at all.

How was it insulting? I'm an ABBA fan, and I love the use of their songs in Epidemiology. It is great action music, and really suited to the Dean.

Well, as an ABBA fan, I felt that using their music in a setting like that was not a perfect match. I understand the humor, but I just felt it wasn't working. It's really hard to explain but I hope you understand. I take music seriously. I would have used Thriller.

That's a good comment. Sorry but I felt that they were making fun of ABBA and their legacy. I would say the same thing if they used Elton John in a similar manner.

I really love the original songs on this show. I'd love to have Vaughn back, for no other reason than to hear one of his incredibly literal songs about the group.

I'd have him back just to hear the way his voice catches on the high notes again. I miss Vaughn and his tiny nipples.

Vaughn's an interesting cat for me, because as much as I hate the idea of him actually being with anyone in the study group, he was absolutely hilarious. I also kind of adored his song for Annie--it was so freaking sweet.

So yea, a new Vaughn song would be welcomed, most definitely.
