Oh! This letter got me all teary-eyed, the records and then the blakced out text! Oh, lily. Why does Rabastan have to go off and be a Death Eater?!

I know! Canon can be so unfair sometimes! But I'm thinking that Lily won't know that Rab became a Death Eater until he finishes school and starts going on attacks with Bellatrix and Rodolphus- so we don't ever have to find out what she would think about the news.

*small smile* No. I won't want them back. They're a gift. I thought you'd like these ones best out of all the records I own.

*slightly awkward* Well- yes. I mean, if you want to come see me. I'll make sure James isn't around and we can go where you want visit- I know you haven't had much of a chance to see Muggle London. Maybe at Christmas...?

I would hope so. I'd really love to think she never found out, but it's highly probable she did. If not from the attacks then at least after Regulus's Death because she'd be the only person he could talk to - but that would hardly end well.

Oh, yes- about Regulus's death, I'm sure that he wouldn't get much sympathy from the other DE. Ack, I don't want to think about that. It's in the future and Lily doesn't want to think about Rabastan the Death Eater, who kills muggles and tortures Frank and Alice.

*coolly* I've already thought about my own future, thank you. And I'm not worrying, I know that Rabastan would never do something so stupid as join up on your side.

Ignore Tom? That would be hard to do. ;) Although I'm afraid Lily has a bit of blind spot when it comes to Rabastan.

Yes, and it's kind of heartbreaking to think about when she finds out. :/ But I think Roz and I have agreed that it won't happen while Rab is still in school, so I doubt it will come up in CQ!Canon, unless we have one of those crack-after-death conversations (which you can't rule out at CQ).
