I have a feeling that were you in charge of Voldemort for book 7, Draco wouldn't last long at all. And quite rightly so - couldn't murder a man even when his life depended on it. ;)
Actually? Not true. My Voldemort would make Draco kill, not to save his own life but his mother and father's and he'd make him keep doing it until he wasn't squeamish anymore. And once Draco went through with it, he would be greatly rewarded.
Draco was resourceful enough to get the DEs into Hogwarts and because of him, Dumbledore is dead. He is worth keeping around. And he's pretty.
Sirius, with his twisted soft-spot for Draco, is flailing and trying to find something to say. I highly doubt he'd be successful, nor do I think it would go well if he did, but the silly boy's instincts remain.
I'm really glad you liked it, sweetie. And no, I don't think Sirius would be able to say anything that Draco would listen to in this situation. :) *loves*
Draco hopes that Blaise feels suitably at liberty after this letter. It can be tough trying to run a relationship when one party is in hiding in one country and the other is in a different country trying to help take the world over. ;) *loves immensely*
And yes, Blaise knows that theoretically he is free. In practice it won't do him any good since we don't have a seventh year, and Blaise is too upset to shag anyone but dead people anyway. *g*
*After being released from the hospital wing, sees Blaise alone in a corridor and angrily stalks up behind him, spins him round and pushes him up against a wall, and holds his wand to Blaise's throat*
You knew, didn't you! You bastard! You were his friend. *sneers angrily*
I'm really a shameless girl, but this did may make cry. Oh Draco! *cuddles him* I'm not going to sully this letter by leting Rabastan anywhere near it.
Rabastan is being stupidly jealous and wants to know why Draco doesn't care about making him proud. Thusly he's not allowed to talk because he'd just make Draco more emotional. I thought it was fantastic *sniffles a little*
Oh! I should have known better than to steal a moment to read this at work... I-will-not-sniffle-in-the-middle-of-my-office I-will-not-sniffle-in-the-middle-of-my-office...
Alright. Have regained composure.
A beautiful letter, dear... Beautiful and perfectly heartbreaking.
