ANTONIN DOLOHOV: 20 November, 1939

May 14, 2006 09:28

Dear Mr and Mrs Danes,

I must sincerely apologise to you and your son Robert for my unforgivable behaviour towards him. I hope our pathetic and childish action toward him have not caused any excessive stress.

There is nothing I can say that can possibly justify or explain our action. In hindsight I know that what I and Ophucius Lestrange did was ( Read more... )

Uncle, you shouldn't say sorry unless you mean it! That's very disrespectful of you!

I was forced to say I was sorry, Rabastan. Otherwise I am certain I would not have.

Teachers, unfortunately, have the power to force their students to do whatever they want them to do. And I believe that most members of the Hogwarts staff should be give no power at all.

*breaks out into laughter at the story and at the apology*
Very convincing job, lads.

*face becomes angelic*
I'm so terribly sorry we weren't able to save your son the trouble of his continued attempts to pursue an education with his betters.

*coldly*
They are all so bloody stupid!

=he shrugs= What more could we do with those two slave masters looking over our shoulders?

=smirks= We have, however, ensured his remains recieve decent burial at the bottom of the lake.

I am afraid you are right. But you can not expect them to be like us, Tom. They are stupid for a reason. If they were not, society would be in even more of an uproar. If everyone was like you, then nothing would be done, they would just argue about it forever. The stupid people only exist to follow. =he leans forward in the chair= I have seen it before. Once the stupid classes get together, get power, there can be no might, military or otherwise, that can crush them. No counter-attack will succeed. You have to wipe them out before it gets too far.

*grins, enjoying the joke*

*thoughtful* That sounds dreadful. Was it the Muggles? Why didn't your leaders stop them before it was too late?

In this case, our leaders were as stupid as the peasants that overthrew them. The masses rose up, the army joined them, and the country went up in flames.

=he glances up at the other, holding his gaze for a moment= Unlike here, there were wizarding families, and far between them. My forefathers thought they could do nothing, so they did nothing. When the old order was purged, half of our world was destroyed with it.

A bear?
You deserved detention to 2am.
That's what you pay for something like. If it wasn't worth it, don't do it again.

Oh, but it was very much worth it, my dear. =he smiles slightly= It was worth it even if we did not have the opertunity to feed Master Danes to poor, stressed Deman. Bears are very sensitive creatures, you know.

I'm all for tormenting people you don't like, but mate - aren't you taking it a bit too far?

I'm well aware I'm not born yet, but the "so that they could knit socks together" line cracked me up so much I had to comment.

Yeah, but I never put someone in with a bear - the most ferocious animal I've ever dealt with is my mum when she's in one of her Moods.

=smiles= Bears are not as dangerous as most people think.

Although I admit, they are perhaps more dangerous than an annoyed mother. In some circumstances, anyway.

Are you considering a career as a nag? I think you would be most suited to it. I know no one who can nag like you, Miss Bones. You have real skill.

=With a slightly rolling shrug of his shoulder= It was also funny. I would have certainly tried it again, if Damen had not needed release. He was feeling very claustrophobic, I think.
