Ilya:

Now that we have regained some freedom (not much though. We're still in detention 3 nights a week after christmas. It's damn unfair), Ophucius has agreed to teach me how to swim.

We’ve started already as he’s going home for Christmas and I’m going with him to France, Ilya! I've only ever seen France out of a train window. It's going to be the ( Read more... )

Daddy's going to teach you to swim? Isn't daddy lovely? I told you he was.

I know, Rabastan. I am not sure if lovely would be the word I would use, however.

I would say your father... was more... adventurous and quick witted rather than lovely, Rabastan. =he smiles= But then I knew a slightly different Ophucius Lestrange.

Jumping in the lake during winter doesn't sound like much fun, Mr Dolohov. Surely you would be more comfortable indoors?

Regulus, have you ever been banned from going outside for so long that you would happily run out into the middle of a gale as soon as that curfew was lifted?

That was we felt like. And it was not as cold as it might have been. It was not frozen, after all.

Of course I haven't! *angelic smile* I'm a good boy, Mr Dolohov. Or rather, I don't get caught.

You would be very foolish to try and jump into the lake if it were frozen.

=smiles= I am well aware of that fact, Regulus. I do sometimes speak to my nephew about your exploits.

I tried to teach Andromeda how to swim.

It didn't work very well though.

I am sorry to hear that, however I am sure it was through not fault of your teaching methods.

I was only trying to help, but she wouldn't listen to me at all.

This has been alluded to in previous letters. Bella actually tried to drown Andromeda in the bath. Andy's still afraid of the water.

Then it is her loss. I expect your sister would have been much better off having listened to you.

I expected as much ^^
