First law of self-imposed creative deadlines: you never, ever meet them. And why should you, really? It takes as long as it takes. As long as the end result is worthwhile, that's the main thing.

Do you have a good swimming pool to practice in? Mine is always so packed - it's a real put off.

I went for my first swim of the year on Saturday. I wish I had time to go more often. Or rather I wish I was organised enough to take my kit to work more often.
