Meanwhile -what is worse: -
*getting yr place flooded or *getting ur place burnt?

I can't decide; i think fire has slightly more X factor but slightly less Misery quotient.

Definitely getting your place burnt. Water dries off while fire leaves ashes and soot, get in everything and leaves a smell you can't rub away.

The only disasters missing in my life now are tornados and earquakes.

That's just crazy. Glad Kevin was there to handle the situation, and, despite being able to limit the amount of damage, that is sure one sucky way to spend a day off.
