Didn't she invent some kind of long distance signature so she didn't have to do book signings? I guess though that having/doing a performance of your book is more fun than reading excerpts from it.

Hope her publishers are putting her up in some nice hotels; I'd've thought she was a bit too old for Travelodges.

Kevin says the long distance machine was because she doesn't like traveling (in fact, she came all the way here by boat! Maybe she just doesn't like planes.)

The entire tour revolves around carbon off setting, support for environmental causes, fair trade, etc., and I'm guessing her publishers picked the best/fairest hotels too. She had some top publishing guns in the front pews that night...
