I'm so excited by the non-smoking-ness, no more coming home from gigs smelling like an ashtray :)

I loved the Britpop 'seven ages of rock' - real trip down memory lane, although there was far too much Oasis and not enough Pulp :)

They chose Oasis purely because they sold the most records; but history will show (as it does already) that they were the least talented.

My goodness, I missed this post the first time around I suspect. Is the smoking ban just in London proper, or the whole of UK?

This is really strange to me. I always picture everyone in Europe with ciggies in their mouths. (or so it seemed to me when last I was there)
I know it's for the best, but very strange.
