Last week I woke up with an uncomfortable feeling in the corner of my mouth that by lunch time had become extremely painful.  The next day it was so unbearable I could hardly open my gob and went to the doctor.  At this point I should note ( Read more... )

Coffee, booze and cigarettes seem to have done the damage to me.

Gin makes me angry and/or overly boisterous. It's hereditary. My old man copped a stool to the head on the gin when he was a young trouble maker.

Oh dear.

winz will give you some of the magics money towards the teeth even if you are working. its called emergency dental and the dentist can make them give you i think $300 towards dental annually if you have a community nervousness card.

Actually, in order to get the hospital to declare it an emergency it just has to be causing pain. OK, so you have to give up a day to sit in their waiting room, but hell, it's much cheaper than a dentist.
I got all four of my wisdom teeth done at the hospital for $300 flat (which WINZ paid for, so, yay, free). Also, the surgeons were so good I got no swelling or pain, either ^_^

I shall call them then.

Usually when I get strapped to chairs, pumped full of drugs and probed with foreign objects I have it done by a willing volunteer.
