Wow. I've never read that book, maybe I should.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

but read Kerouac's "On The Road" (also a fantastic book) first. "The Dharma Bums" is much more powerful when experienced in that order. both books are defining works of 20th century American literature, IMO.
