Oh wow, you are so good at feel good fics. This one caused a massive surge of happy feelings -- I was in the middle of reading when a friend popped by to ask what I was up to, and apparently I had such a stupid expression on my face that she burst out laughing.

Such flawed characters and sad backstory leading up to this new, hopeful future. GOSH. LOVE. YES.

Then I was sad that the fic ended.

I have no real intelligent words to say other than I wish there was more, but this is great too. I love how Sam is so Sam even though you don't really get his point of view and you know he's been looking for Dean because they're brothers. I would love to see Sam find out about Dean sleeping with Crazy Roof Guy. Oh and CAS! Like I wanna know what happened to him to make him stop talking, but he said no words and was still very much Cas. And I love Ellen saying that Jo liking REO Speedwagon made her un-normal because that was precious.

Oh wow. Oh wow. The story you've got here is so utterly compelling, so rich and full, with the supporting cast and Dean and Castiel so different and yet so very themselves. I love Vonnegut fan!Dean so much it's not even funny.

And your prose is amazing, there are times I have to mentally note a sentence to read over and over again. The way you slip in canon references is really sly and subtle, too - loved the 'pink satin panties' line, Castiel's full-body halo... and Bobby's thought right after he first sees Dean is SO INTRIGUING.

Castiel the Crazy Roof Guy for the WIN, by the way.

I really hope you expand on this 'verse. I have no doubt this is gonna be a hit, so I already look forward to more parts.

P.S. I had to quote this, because it's the best description of Misha's/Castiel's lips EVER: as full as a woman's, with a man's force and heat. GUH.
