awwwh, the letter is so sweet and love how it ties in with the horizon photos. and i like the lo of your friend. love all the doodling. i doodled yesterday on my 'dare layout'. it turned out nice, but i got tired/bored of doing it about 1/4 of the way through and had to take a break and finish it up later. i think maybe that's why i don't like doing it? i get bored, and then i get sloppy.
oh, and the last layout is a repeat of the horizon one. wrong photo posted, i think?
it was taken by a friend of mine in college after we had been working on something involving paint. it started as an "i'm gonna get you!" type thing of me going at her with my paint covered hands and then she grabbed a camera and went from there.
i thought it was a cool picture and when i moved, i tucked it into the back of a frame... only to find in about 2 weeks ago. i wanted to make sure it got into my albums. the pic is weird but its kind of cool at the same time.
you can also see my flaming orange hair through the gaps in my hands.
i thought i would have issues with the pink at first but then i realized that it didnt matter if there were splashes of pink in there... it worked with the colors.
the quote is actually part of a package of chipboard pieces by prima that come with the kit. its a self adhesive chipboard that i mounted on green cs.
thank you about the pictures and the journaling on the sunset layout. its always so hard to scrap sunset pics because they are always so similar. this seemed to work for me.
thank you. i think you are right about the hands one. that was the one, if you remember correctly, i was the least confident on creating. seeing it in photo format, it does all seem to work well together. the mere one is very simple. i am not sure why it is, but i really just am not crazy about it. maybe its that weird color pink/orange/salmon cardstock...
