Tuesday: Realism
Today's theme is Realism.
We write fanfic in the world of fantasy, but the reality of real life can be fuel for the most compelling of stories. People get cramps during sex, or someone pushes the limits too far. STDs and unexpected pregnancies, layoffs, injury, mental illness, homesickness, mood swings, funny habits - the possibilties are endless! And just because most of my examples range from tragic to inconvenient, doesn't mean that they can't be cute and funny and wonderful too.
