"No, honestly. Guy to guy honesty. What do you have against me, huh?"

Eliot tried to ignore Hardison and concentrate on the hockey game, but it wasn't as easy as he'd like it to be.

"Is it, because I'm black? Dude, are you racist? Because if yes, I'll have to kick your butt and..."

"I'm not racist, shut up."

Hardison stared at the monitor as well, but he's complete lack of interest so visible on his face was only an insult to this great sport. Eliot tried not to sigh, when he noticed the other man turning to him again.

"So, maybe it's because I'm Jew? You have anything against the Jews?!"

"No, I hear they taste delicious," snarked Eliot, irritated with constant interruptions.

He glanced back at Hardison's silence and almost spit the mouthful of his beer, noticing his wicked smile.

"Wanna taste?"

"You're..."

"Proud of my origins," stated Hardison with ridiculously serious face.

"...horny fag," finished Eliot.

The other man shrugged, smiling slightly.

"That too."

“Who’re you?” Kaylee frowned in confusion when she saw the blonde girl in the engine room. “How’d you get on board?”
“I snuck on before you left dock, obviously. Then I hid.” She looked around the room. “There are lots of hiding places on this ship, you know.”
“Uh.. yeah. I know. Why did you sneak onto Serenity?”
“There’s something here that I need to get.”

Kaylee’s eyes widened, as she remembered the last person who had snuck onto the ship unseen, and what he had been after. “You’re… you’re Alliance, aren’t you?”
She was surprised when the blonde girl laughed suddenly. “Alliance? You think I’m… that’s actually quite funny. I’m wanted by the Alliance on four… no, wait, five worlds. Why would I work for them?”
Kaylee shrugged. “You might be a bounty hunter.” She said quietly.
The girl shook her head quickly. “Uh-uh. That’s not my game. Too messy. I just want the money.”
“Who are you ( ... )

“Wanna play hide and seek?” Molly asks one day when they're both past the age of playing such childish games. She's still full of that spark that's left over from her youth though, it's what he loves about her, what he admires most. “You go hide and I'll find you.”

She's got an unfair advantage over him, and they both know it. He rolls his eyes and continues working on fixing his laptop. “That won't be much of a challenge for you.”

“No,” She smiles a flirtatious grin, and then whispers in his ear. “But when I find you, I'll let you do naughty things to me.” He doesn't waste any time before hoping to his feet and going to hide, while she counts down the seconds. “10.. 9.. 8..”

Perhaps they're not children anymore, perhaps not so innocent-- but they can still have fun.
