Star Wars, Han/Leia, silent in his or her grief

Star Trek, Spock/McCoy (TOS or XI), kissing him was an unconventional, but interesting, effective, and oddly logical way to shut him up.

If he needed the weakness of being able to lay blame, he would blame it on the small ball of fluff he had been holding in his hand. Although stating that he was immune to the soothing, calming effects of holding and patting a tribble, he had his doubts to the veracity of that claim. They obviously held some sort of sway over his control because as he exchanged barbs with Dr. McCoy in the lab as they examined the small animals, he found he was allowing himself the liberty of taking more enjoyment out of their exchange than he normally did
