Aaand good morning once again, third day of the week and today the theme is Three Sentences. An old favorite and you all know how this goes - any fill to any prompt can be no longer than three sentences. Bring out those semicolons and go play!

When she gets home, her room is mostly dark, the daylight mostly gone. The light on the answering machine is flickering: one new message. Kitty doesn't need to listen to it to know who it's from or what it says.

(by the way, your icon is so fantastic I can't deal. Can I steal it?)

And thanks for the comment about the icon. In my head at the moment I see Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder as my Pete and Kitty and I really liked this pic of them so I kind of had to make it - lol. So yeah, if you like it, feel free to use it.

Kate Freelander doesn't use her gun recklessly (at least not always) or without thought. She's careful, calculated, at least when it comes to her weapon; she only pulls it out when she needs it. But if happiness is a warm gun, Kate has been a very happy girl.

After the Christmas party, Kate and Will spend an hour on the roof making out before migrating to her room. They don't come out til morning. They both blame it on the wine, but Helen remembers that neither of them drank any.
