Jensen wouldn't have been mentally berating himself so much if he hadn't come face to face with the fact that he'd adored Misha since about five minutes after he met him. In Jensen's defense, the bruises really could have come from things that happened on set. And in his defense, Misha had always been fairly quiet, and getting him to talk about something he didn't want to talk about was next to impossible

Upon seeing the vicious black eye when Misha took off his dark glasses, Jensen was inclined to agree with him. Misha looked miserable, and talked even less than he normally did. Jensen attributed that to the pain. Misha didn't even try to pass that one off as a set injury. He told Jensen that he had simply been working on a carpentry project in his free time and lost his grip on the hammer, which hit him in the face. Jensen sat beside Misha in the emergency department of the local hospital while he waited to be taken back for x-rays. Hairline fracture was the phrase that kept replaying itself in Jensen's head
