“Me, too.” Harry rested his head on Zayn’s shoulder. “Should we see if this place has room service?”
Zayn frowned.
“Wish I could take you out to a nice dinner, Babe. Show the world you’re mine.” He turned his head away and added bitterly, “That will never happen, though.”
Harry gently touched Zayn’s cheek so the other man would look at him.
“Maybe that can’t happen right now, but don’t say ‘never’.”
Zayn took Harry’s hand and kissed his fingers.
“Love that you’re an optimist, Babe. Love you.”
“I love you, too. And someday everyone will know that, but for now - ”
“Cheap motels and shitty room service.”
“For now,” Harry continued, “it’s not so terrible having you all to myself.”
“Yeah,” Zayn leaned in for kiss and held Harry tight.
At least until morning, they would be together, unashamed, unapologetic, and exactly the way Zayn wanted.
