"And how did it feel?" Aunt Jamie asked him, leaning in. Curious.

"It felt... I guess... I expected it to feel so good. But instead, I felt like I wanted to throw up."

He looked up, and he could tell Aunt Jamie was just a little bit disappointed. But she was looking at him with compassion, not anger.

"It's all right," she told him, patting him on the shoulder. "It gets easier every time you do it."

Harry's forehead wrinkled. "But... I killed Voldemort. It's done. Why would I ever need to kill again?"

"Oh, sweetheart," she said, tousling his hair. "You have so much to learn."
