Fools, Caroline thought. They were fools. As a human, she hadn't been able to recall any of the memories they'd stripped from her. Now, though, with the vampire blood swimming through her veins, and the cries of anguish thrumming in her ears, she remembered everything in vivid detail.
"Blondie," Damon hissed, "what the hell has gotten into you?"
Sweet, innocent Caroline would have trembled with fear, begging Damon-begging anyone-for help with teary doe eyes. No longer was she sweet, innocent Caroline, though. "My name," Caroline said, a soft smile accompanying her words, "is Loki. And like you, I have a brother whose misery I very well intend to be the cause of."
