Back for my second day and running a bit late. Sorry about that. I'm firefox1490 and this is my second round of guest hosting here at comment_fic. Lets do this.

Today's theme is "Things that did happen but shouldn't have". Characters make choices. Choices that you as the viewer think Why the hell did you do that?

The Covenant, Caleb/Chase, Chase didn’t use at the pool

It’s close. Caleb is pacing him and it would be so easy to give him a little push with his power, to hold him back or throw him off course-because Chase isn’t used to losing. It would feel good, too, that amazing tingle that Using always gives him. But he doesn’t let himself cheat because he’s competitive to the bone, and damn it, he wants to know if Caleb really is better than he is

Glad you enjoyed it. I really love the idea of Chase as the Prodigal Son of Ipswich. Btw, I *am* working on Bucky's POV for the bodyswap. I've got a few bits and an idea of where it's going, I'm just leary about posting too soon in case it peters out.

Homegrown means I made it---it took me all of two minutes using Paint on a bigger picture---and you're certainly welcome to snag it.

I haven't done bodyswap before this, and I've never done a high school AU, but I guess that's why they say "Never say never...".

The ending was wide open for a sequel that could've gone either way--pity that never happened.
