oh, dear. i hope this is something like what you wanted; i'm not sure it's what you had in mind, but i figured i might as well post it?
Three years after high school ends, they run into each other.
It's something out of a television show, out of a movie; they're in a bar and they lock eyes and before he knows what he's doing Kurt's walking over to him, eyebrow raised.
(And Dave thinks holy shit and he looks good, because he does - because now he's all confidence and long limbs and he's thin but toned, and Dave wanted him before but now, now - he really fucking wants him.)
"Fancy seeing you here," Kurt says (drawls, Dave thinks), and takes a sip of his drink
