Criminal Minds, Any, why they don't wear red

They have an unspoken agreement to never wear red. It is related to the agreement not to profile one another, but this one runs even deeper.
There’s an old story about the ship captain who wore red so that if he was shot, his crew would not know, and would not be demoralized. Would keep fighting.
The team doesn’t wear red so that if one of them is injured, the others will know. They will not be demoralized, they will not stop fighting. They will fight that much harder.
