The mystery meat and the overly colorful vegetables and the pudding that tastes like chocolate-flavored putty: had to be right from hell.

Depending on who works at that hospital... It probably was lol. Thanks for the fill!

He swears it's too nasty to be natural. And one time - one time - he's right. So he never eats it again.

Instead he makes Sam bring him burgers and pie when he lands himself in the medical big house, yes? ;) Thank you!

Damn weird garlic potatoes; honestly, what sick or injured soul wants anything au gratin, anyway?

Strangely enough, that's also the only way Irish/German/American-mutt me *also* does not prefer spuds lol. I do feel the need to make something with garlic in it for dinner now, though. Huh. Thank you for the fill!

That one came from my Dad. He was in the "fancy" hospital with the hotel-style menu that had garlic potatoes every night, and he *hated* garlic with the fire of a thousand suns :-P

You're entirely welcome! And it wasn't even Assassin's Creed! Yay me!

You're sure your dad isn't a vampire, right? Jk

Seriously, almost all foods ethnic types contain garlic in some amount- does he have a hard time going out to eat? Because that's most Italian foods nixed, just for a start. :(

He *never* ate out if he could help it, but the pubs and restaurants here do fairly good, plain simple meat & veg carvery meals as well as more ethnic stuff, so he wasn't usually stuck for food, just in the "fancy pants" hospital :-P
