Tuesday: Gifts and presents

Greetings!
I am sorry about yesterday, I was out celebrating my birthday and completely forgot about making the post before I left. But today I won't forget and due to this week being my birthday week, today's theme is Gifts! It could be an awesome random gift, a birthday present gone wrong or maybe a bomb concealed as a gift

The thing is Cam hasn’t done anything really bad in a really long time. That thing with the U-boat resolved itself months ago, and the fiasco with the Haitian diplomat amused Oz more than anything else. Oz said so himself.

But, still, on an otherwise utterly normal Friday evening, an envelope is delivered to Cam’s workstation.

At first, the lavishness of the gift shocks Cam into mindlessness. He hurries into Oz’s office, gushing thanks and “I couldn’t”s. Oz smiles serenely the whole time. “You crazy kids deserve it,” he says. “And you need a break. All work and no play makes Cam a pain in my ass. Tell Patty I said ‘hi’, will ya?”

Half-way through an all-expenses paid weekend away with his girlfriend, however, Cam realizes that he is an idiot. Also? That he is doomed.

“Dude, you’re not doomed. So Oz gave you a gift… Maybe he was just being nice.”

Cam can’t even wrap his mind around the ridiculousness of that statement, so he glosses over it quickly. “Mel. You know better than I do that Oz. Does. Not. Do. Nice. Things.“He does

Thanks for this. Lovely fun fill and Dutch is right, Oz loves her and would probably do anything for her but Cam is probably being used.
