Love Is Blind - Ats/Leverage, Lindsey/Hardison (hints of Eliot/Hardison UST), PG-13nevcolleilJuly 1 2011, 14:18:57 UTC
Perhaps the funniest (and most unsettling) thing about it is that Eliot absolutely hates the guy. And refuses to examine his reasons too closely. Not to mention certain other things.
"You're kidding, right?"
It's only about the twelfth time they've all listened to Eliot grumble about Hardison's new boyfriend - or outright insult the guy, venting loudly about his "slick smile" and his "smarmy charm" and his "fancy suits". Parker is the first to break. Nate and Sophie have had long discussions on the mystery of how Hardison managed to find Eliot's exact dopplegager; how the man could possibly look just like Eliot and yet be like Lindsey - a smooth-talking lawyer with expensive tastes and questionable morals; and, most mind-boggling of all, how Eliot can persist to ignore the similarities between Lindsey and himself. They didn't think Parker was paying much attention (you never know with Parker.) But at Eliot's look of angry confusion, Parker snorts.
