I hope you like this :p It reads a little odd to me, but maybe I took on too much by trying to use not one of the characters you suggested pairing with Tony but three :p

It takes a joint operation to take down the Rossum Corporation… He’s not even sure who all’s involved. By the end, he’s worked personally with several alphabet agencies, a black ops team with backing from the NSA, the MI-5 and the CIA, and one or two individuals with sketchy identification (it’s not like anyone’s all that concerned about credentials with the fate of the free world at stake).

Whoever’s to thank, saving humanity feels like the kind of thing you ought to go out and celebrate so Tony asks the guy he’s worked alongside the most throughout the campaign if he’d like to go out for drinks.

Charles- Or Chuck, rather (that what he’s told Tony to call him) blushes prettily and babbles. It’s a little amazing how shy and almost awkward a man who can single-handedly incapacitate a room full of Active soldiers can be when he’s off the clock, and Tony’s wondering ( ... )

Despite the unfortunate start of their evening (you don’t endear yourself to a man like Casey by hitting on his - now apparent - significant other) Tony finds that drinking with Casey and Chuck is really quite relaxing. Chuck is easy to talk to, funny and charming. Casey doesn’t say much, but Tony is feeling a bit introspective so he doesn’t mind the lack of chatter from Casey‘s end. He’s content to sit back and let Chuck ramble light-heartedly, drawing him and Casey and Elliot into conversation often enough to keep the night lively but not so often that anyone feels pressured to be talkative ( ... )

I LOVE THIS!!!

I love that Tony is into Chuck's nerdiness/badassery combo, and I love the way you reveal Chuck/Casey to him. And then Eliot! YAY. and are Casey and tony upset about eliot because he's scary or because Chuck likes him? i could see both!

This was yummy and it took such a cracky prompt and made it really realistic - this is a perfect explanation of how they would meet and how they would act - very gruff and very them.

Thank you for writing this - I love it!!!!!
