Riley's innocent question bounced around inside Christian's head, rattling his skull. He tossed and turned, rolling from his side to his back, then to his other side before finally flopping to his stomach. He punched his pillow and growled under his breath in frustration. He rolled over again to face Steve, smiling despite himself at his lover sleeping peacefully, oblivious to Christian's distress. Sighing softly, he folded himself against Steve, one arm wrapped tightly around him as he sank into an uneasy sleep

"Think he can fly?" they asked each other, laughing maliciously as their grip on him tightened. They dragged him up the stairs, still laughing, ignoring his cries, screams and struggles. "What are you afraid of, wing boy?" they jeered as they continued to drag him across the roof. "You got wings, don't you? You can just fly down!"
