Yami no Matsuei, Hisoka, unexpected flashbacks

The oddest things could cause Hisoka's mind to recall things he did not want to remember. Waking up deep in the night when the moon shone full in his window put him in mind of that moonlit night when he had wandered out into the cherry orchard. He caught himself bracing for the moment when the light started to bleed red.

An adult raising their voice would bring him back to a moment when his father or his mother had shouted at him: "How do you know these things? Are you prying into people's heads?"
